Microsoft Announces Release Date of Windows 7

Windows 7The successor to the much failed Vista series of Operating systems has been announced along with several launches Microsoft plans for the year. Their own search engine, Bing has just been released but it still is too early to tell as to it’s progress or success. It is getting traffic or use but many experts say this is merely due to the initial efforts of advertising and of course, the ever present curiosity of people who jump into everything that is new on the internet.
Windows 7 is set for release this October if all goes well for the giant software developer that has suffered blow after blow, losing in talks with Yahoo to come up with a partnership to enter the search market and the failure of Vista to take over the more stable XP.
The recession may have also played a part, it’s coming seen well before markets were sent tumbling down and people stopped buying. They are betting a lot on their new technologies as they are indeed in need of expansion if they are to maintain relevance in the computer world. With Ballmer taking over Bill, his strategy to bring Microsoft back to it’s glory days will be seen in the times to come.
